This was done by the astronaut standing in one spot, and then taking several single photos of the location as he rotated in a 360 degree circle. Taken by Apollo 14 Commander Alan Shepard, this combined panoramic poster shows Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell working the TV camera as a brilliant sun glare reflects off the Lunar Module Antares. |

During the six moon landings between 1969 and 1972, the Apollo astronauts captured several panoramas. This was done by the astronaut standing in one spot, and then taking several single photos of the location as he rotated in a 360 degree circle. The result was about 20 photos which when laid alongside each other, would form a panoramic mosaic of the location. |

A-OK! The Wings of Mercury is a realistic simulation of the Mercury spacecraft. It features 3D graphics, fully functional control panels, networked simulations, and a complete manual. Here are just some of the features: Real-time trajectory modeling accurately simulates the ascent, orbital and reentry dynamics of the spacecraft. Atmospheric drag, thrust and mass are just three of the many variables used in the sophisticated integration techniques used. Accurate, real-time 3D graphics that simulate the cockpit and window view. At the end of a simulation, A-OK! Can produce a detailed HTML-based report on your mission. Just like the real thing, you can only receive when you are over a ground station and you'll get static as you slip in and slip out of range. The data is saved in a standard comma-delimited text file that you can export to an external analysis tool like Microsoft Excel. Space flight enthusiasts can network with other enthusiasts to run large-scale simulations over the web. |

"Apollo 12 NASA Mission Reports, Volume Two" includes a bonus DVD! In November 1969 two more humans set foot on the lunar surface, in the process, further reinforcing the indisputable preeminence of the United States as the world's greatest technological power. Captured here are the details of leaky spacesuits, rockets struck by lightning, spacesuit cooling systems which stop working because the spacecraft's door got stuck closed and cameras which were disabled by dust. Or the details of the pinpoint landing by Pete Conrad, descending as fast as 170 feet a second, into a pall of lunar dust so thick he couldn't see his landing site from 40 feet away. If you want to know why that TV camera failed or just how badly decomposed the robotic Surveyor had become after three years on the moon, it's all here from the official NASA reports, accompanied by hours of rare and unique video of the Apollo 12 mission. |

This 3-DVD set contains the most complete record available of the Apollo 12 mission, with over 12 hours of material, including the complete television transmissions and onboard film, a rebuilt EVA sequence featuring the complete audio from both EVAs reconstructed with television, film, 70mm hasselblad photographs and training footage. You'll also see footage of Alan Bean in the LLRF, hardware checkout, altitude chamber footage, EVA and crew training, jet training, work at the pad, astronaut suit up and transfer to the pad, multi-angle launch including spectacular pad camera footage, recovery and the transfer of the quarantine unit off of the U.S.S. Hornet. |

Apollo 13 was the almost-disaster that resulted in what NASA labeled a "successful failure". When an oxygen tank exploded mid-flight, the crew was forced to abort their lunar landing, fly around the Moon inside the lunar module as a lifeboat and find their safe way back to Earth. This Spaceflori presentation displays a segment of a flown equipment strap used on Apollo 13. |

Aside from Apollo 11, the mission of Apollo 13 is probably the best known and most well-documented of the Apollo missions. This set presents the real record of the mission in a way never seen before. The complete record of the incredible voyage of Apollo 13. |

The fifth successful lunar landing mission, Apollo 16 was the second of NASA’s “J” lunar missions. With extended lunar stay times and the greater mobility afforded by the lunar rover, the final three Apollo lunar landing missions greatly expanded man’s first program of lunar exploration. John Young, Charlie Duke, and Ken Mattingly executed a spectacular mission to the Descartes highlands. The landing site lies in the central lunar highlands in hilly, grooved and furrowed lurain. The mission was the first to a lunar highlands area -- quite different from any location previously visited. Young and Duke explored the site during 3 EVAs, while Mattingly conducted an extensive program of scientific observation from lunar orbit. This 6-disc Extended Collector's Edition from Spacecraft Films differs from the original released in 2003 through the addition of audio tracks, the addition of the audio during the lunar surface traverses, and the addition of a landing site flyover. The packaging also has been redesigned to more closely resemble other Spacecraft Films releases. |
